Okay, I admit it, I watch Dancing with the Stars. And last night
it was worth it. The dancing piece of the night I thought was clearly J.R.
Martinez and Karina Smirnoff tribute to the wives of fallen military men. It
may have been one of the most emotional things I have ever seen. J.R. Martinez
is a remarkable man who served in the military and whose humvee hit a mine and
nearly killed him. His burns have left him disfigured. He is an actor on a soap
opera All My Children.
He is one of the folks whose
personality and elan put you past his scars almost immediately. He is a good
looking guy in all aspects in my mind. He gave everyone a gift with his dancing
performance.
