I believe that puts
them with 30 others states so far. Obama however, has come out against these
bans; about time in my opinion. I’m always a bit amazed at people’s thinking on
this issue. The majority of folk who take this position are conservatives,
particularly Christian conservatives. A long held tradition in conservatism is
that the states should butt out of personal stuff and leave it up to the
individual; so why are they constantly butting in?
Now toting guns, that’s
another matter. We are a gun toting nation.
Not only should we
have the right to carry guns we want to carry them concealed. Seems like we’re
heading back to the old west with folk strapping on their six guns and seeing
who can slap leather the fastest. [A side note, in Sammy David Jr.’s day he was
nationally know as the 3rd
fast draw in the country. I don’t know
why I threw that it.]
Again I hearken back
to picturing how Jesus would react to these things. There was the disciple
Jesus loved (supposedly John). What does that mean, a little gay sounding?
David loved Jonathan, check those passages out for gayness.
And can’t you just see
Jesus and the disciples at the OK tabernacle slinging lead at the Pharisees and
Sadducees? Now the Zealots might have. Judas was a Zealot, and he’s the one who
betrayed Jesus with a kiss (a kiss?)
