I believe you can tell a good deal about a person by the charity and giving habits. Generous hearts acts generously and vice versa. You can draw your own conclusions from the graph below.
In fairness, graphs like this can be somewhat misleading because of what they don't include: for example, the fact that Mitt's wealth and income are orders of magnitude above the others and percentages there don't tell the whole story as you are dealing with another whole definition of 'disposable' income.
Also the fact that Romney's effective tax rate around 15% is something like 10 to 15 percentage points lower than Obama's and Newt's 25% and 30%, respectively.
Another factor rarely considered with such comparisons is how much time they spend in good works. Writing a check is one thing. Devoting time in a food kitchen, mission work to help the poor, etc is another thing entirely. And I have no idea what any of them have done in this regard.
