in I have always had a healthy respect for the Chamber of Commerce. Bear in
mind I have lived mainly in small towns but also some biggies, like New York
City. I found the members serious minded caring members of the community that encouraged
each other to help support community causes and to promote healthy economic
growth. But now they seem a part of the Big is Better interests and use
leverage to promote self interests over common interests.
Recently the have
released 21 30 second ads; May 9-17 in 17 House and 4 Senate races. These ads
claim that the health care law “could” cause 20 million people to lose their
current health care coverage. This is misleading in the name of education of
voters.
