There is a lot the Tea Party is against. What are they for? It
appears like they would like to return to the 19th century. Read
some history and see what a mess that time was. It also seems important to make
no distinction between the country founded in 1776 and our current country.
Nihilism if the belief that a society’s political and social
institutions are so bad they should be destroyed. They seem to have this belief
as was advocated by the 19th century Russian Party.
While I appreciate the Tea Party's frustration with government and the status quo there agenda seems let's just make things worse. They seem to lack compassion for fellow human beings and would take us back to the law of the jungle or the survival of the fittest. The claim Christian traditions but do not follow Christian ethics of compassion, care and love for their fellow human beings. They have unwittingly become the pawns of big businesses and those who promote inequality in government and economics.
