Pie Politics

Rupert Murdock gets hit with a pie in the face. What a superb idea. Murdock is one of the ultra rich that I keep complaining about for not paying their fair share of taxes and getting government entitlements. He’s confusing in that he seems like a nice man but controls both the Wall Street Journal and FOX news. He’s an American who lives in England. He is a capitalist in a highly socialized country. Who he is?

And apparently the guy who smacked him in the face with the pie didn’t have a clue as to who was either. He was just a guy who thought it would be funny to smack somebody with a pie.

We know some of the ultra rich in this country, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet even complain how unfair it is that they pay less taxes than their employees. But most of the ultra rich are unknown faces that control over half the wealth of the nation and possess the power that goes with it. And the government apparently represents these unknown folk.

Solution, let’s buy pies and start smacking people with them. There is a remote possibility that you might actually hit one of the ultra rich. As for the rest, if it’s a tasty pie, no real loss. Or how about political candidates instead of “doing their little sidesteps” during the televised debates, just smack each other with pies. Then the populace can vote on the best pie smacker. Why do I have the feeling the outcome wouldn’t be much different that it is in our present system?

The pie was a foam pie, about as weighty as the issues discussed anyway.
