Super Bowl Prediction

Now folk know I’m not the greatest of football fans, but since this is a blog on politics and religion and sports qualifies for both for many people, I feel honor bound to make a predictions.

I find it a difficult task, but here goes. First, the Patriots, if history holds, only about a third of the team will show up with a 3^rd continuing to support the British and another 3^rd just don’t care. But they do have the advantage of muskets. Shooting your opposition is a big advantage especially if you opposition is unarmed, even if your uniform is scratchy wool and ill-fitting.

Next are the giants, what type of giants are these? Are the Goliath type giants, or ogre type giants like Shrek? Are they 10 feet tall or 20 feet tall? This is a big game changer. The bigger the giant the less a few musket balls will affect them, so if they turn out in full force or are really big and cute like Shrek I think they have the advantage. If they are smaller giants even a few musket balls might bring them down quickly and game over.

I’m waffling on this as you can tell, but then I don’t have the vested interest in this contest as many do. For me it’s off to church and then a little golf, then I’ll check to see how this national aberration turns out.
